Kinsale Hotel & Spa Pool - 6 weeks swimming in Term 3.
GAA
The school participates in Sciath na Scol in Football, Hurling and Camogie.
* 3rd & 4th class boys and girls play indoor football
*5th & 6th class boys and girls participate in indoor hurling and camogie.
*4th to 6th classes participate in Sciath na Scol outdoor league and blitz days, in hurling, camogie and football.
CULTURE
Dance
Irish dancing is taught on Friday's in Term 2 to all age groups by Mrs Marguerite Fitzpatrick
Tin Whistle
Tin whistle is taught by the class teachers to 4th, 5th & 6th classes.
Concerts
The annual Christmas Concert allows pupils to demonstrate their cultural flair to their Parents.
Competitions
Scór na bPáistí
Dunderrow National School Set Dancers, Figure Dancers, Quiz Team, Solo Singers and Ballad Group take part in Scór na bPáistí.
The school also takes part in the Credit Union Art Competition, Mad Hatters Art Competition, RNLI Art Competition, Credit Union Quiz – annually
K-Nex Challenge (organised by the Engineering Society of Ireland. 4th Class participate annually in this competition)

Health Promotion
Dunderrow National School is currently working towards achieving a Health Promoting School status from the HSE. (Health Service Executive)
