The boys and girls in second class started Literacy Lift Off this week; a power hour of fun literacy activities, which will run from Monday to Thursday, for a number of weeks! With a number of teachers and small groups, the children get lots of individual attention and support. This week, they enjoyed reading familiar and new books as well as practicing sentence dictation and handwriting. They also played word games such as boggle and completed phonics activities on the brand new tablets!
